A few weeks back one of my very best friends had a loss in their family. She was going to have to fly home w/ both of her boys for an unknown amount of time. In a quick moment Ronda's husband and I w/ Randall sitting next to us said "leave the boys here".... when the proposition was brought up to Ronda she couldn't believe nor did she think she could accept. In a moment Neil, Randall and myself all hashed out that there was no better plan than for the boys to be in San Diego and leave them w/ us when Neil was working, on duty or out to sea. It was an amzing week and I am so glad that such an incredible woman allowed me to watch her boys. She's done such amazing things for our family over the years. Always does whatever it takes to be the "Friends Friend" I am forever indebted to her for all the joy her and her family has brought into our lives. Our fellow Navy families understand that your "navy friends" are essential to getting you from point A to point B regardless of the path you have to take in the middle. So here is a little picture montage of the lovely week we had together. WE LOVE OUR ROCHA's !!!

The request was for Ice Cream, Cake, Berries. So "Aunt" Courtney found an ice cream cake w/ layers of  berries AND had a huge container full of blueberries, raspberries & strawberries ready and waiting to slather on the birthday boys peice. 

Weeeee, I'm 3. (After this photo Neil tole me Noah asked for a "Bid #3 candle"...who knew ESP was real...I got the BIGGEST #3 candle Party City had to offer. 

Although Mommy (Ronda) was in Texas during the b-day celebration Noah got to tell her all about it, while it was happening. (note how big that candle is)

No fear of the cheese. He was SUPER happy to see him. 

Big Brother was really happy to be a big helper/part of Noah's special day. 

The man behind Noah was our own special "Birthday Champ" did anything we needed, any moment we needed it.

Opening presents! Hot Wheels track and cars from the Knapp family

Noah got special presents. Toy Story 3 goodies from Mom and Dad,  Zhu Zhu pet stuff from the Whites, Hot Wheels from the Knapps, Misc other stuff from Carter, and a pair of special Jammies (took it upon myself) to get Jammies and wrap them w/ a card from Noah's MiMi. Cause we know that our MiMi's are the best part of our birthdays...and Jammies?  Who doesn't love Jammies. So Diane Q. Sorry if I stepped out of bounds...but wanted a gift from you for Noah-mister to open on his 3rd birthday. They are the ones in the lower left corner...and super cute. 

Special smoothies and sausage mc muffin breakfast at the park while Ms. Ronda was in Tx. Before taking E to school. 

Noah and I had some special time while E was at school...and didn't stop smiling the WHOLE time. 

Okay their meals were MUCH healthier than this, however, Mr. Randall had a special back procedure at Balboa early one morning so the boys request...McDonalds...well kids you're in luck, balboa has a Mickey D's just for you. Again the menu was Smoothies and sausage patties.

When Noah realized he could sit next to the window when the other two boys were at school and was given permission to roll the window up/down as long as it was "safe" he was very excited. 

Our three boys lovin' being together for an entire week. They never got tired of each-other and always made great choices. 

Who could resist? "Speak no evil, hear no evil, see no evil"...

E and C decided they wanted the little couch as their boat.

So we added blankets and pillows.
